Terms

Written to be read, not to hide things. If anything here is unclear, email [email protected] and a human answers.

Who you are buying from

Wingcalm is built, operated and sold by Pablo Giesinger, an independent maker. You can always reach the person behind the product at [email protected]. That address is also the support channel, next to your receipt email.

What you buy

One payment of $29 buys a personal, lifetime license to the Wingcalm companion app for you and the devices you fly with. No subscription, no account, no recurring anything. Your access code unlocks the app on your phone, your tablet, your laptop. It is for your personal use: do not resell the app, republish its content, or share your code publicly.

Payment and delivery

Payments are processed by Stripe. Delivery is instant: the moment your payment completes you land in the unlocked companion with your access code on screen, and it arrives with your receipt as well. Prices are in US dollars. Where law requires sales tax or VAT on top, the checkout shows it before you pay.

The 30-day guarantee

If Wingcalm does not calm you, reply to your receipt email within 30 days of purchase and you get every cent back. Unconditional means unconditional: no forms, no questions, and you keep nothing to return because there is nothing to return. This promise is longer and simpler than the 14-day withdrawal right EU law gives you for digital content, and it never cuts into any right your local law grants you.

Not therapy, not medical care

Wingcalm is aviation knowledge plus body-calming tools. It is not therapy, medical care, diagnosis or treatment, and it does not replace a professional. If anxiety runs your daily life, a professional is the real upgrade. If you are in crisis, reach a trained counselor at findahelpline.com. In the air, tell a flight attendant you are a nervous flyer.

What the app promises technically

Wingcalm is built to work offline in airplane mode after you install it and open it once with internet. We keep the app available and working, and we fix what breaks. At the same time, software runs on your device and your browser: we cannot guarantee it is free of every defect on every device ever made. If something does not work for you, email us; if we cannot fix it, the refund above is the backstop.

The music

The five music recordings inside Wingcalm (Chopin's Nocturne Op. 9 No. 2, Satie's Gymnopédie No. 1 and Gnossiennes No. 1 and 3, and Bach's Air on the G String) are in the public domain or released under CC0, sourced via Wikimedia Commons. They are legally yours to listen to inside the app, offline, forever. Everything else in the app, the writing, the design, the code, belongs to Wingcalm and is protected by copyright.

Liability, in plain words

To the extent the law allows, our liability to you is capped at the amount you paid for Wingcalm. Nothing in these terms limits liability where the law says it cannot be limited, and nothing here touches the statutory rights you have as a consumer in your country.

Changes and law

If these terms change, the version on this page is the one that counts, with the date below. Changes never take away a guarantee you already bought under. These terms are read under the law of your country of habitual residence wherever its consumer protection rules are mandatory.
